Witch Hat Crescent Rolls are a fun and easy Halloween-themed appetizer made with buttery crescent dough, seasoned with garlic and herbs, and topped with parmesan cheese, cheese slices, and olive buckles for a spooky twist.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasonings
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese, finely grated
  • Thin Cheese Slices (Cheddar or American) – for garnish
  • Sliced Olives – for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Roll the wide end slightly to form the brim of a witch hat and curve the tip of the triangle.
  5. Place shaped dough on the baking sheet.
  6. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  7. Brush butter mixture over each crescent roll.
  8. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top.
  9. Bake for 11–13 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly, then place a cheese slice strip across the brim and top with an olive slice to mimic a buckle.
  11. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Don’t overbake—rolls cook quickly.
  • Use crescent dough sheets cut into triangles as an alternative.
  • Try cinnamon sugar instead of garlic for a sweet version.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container; reheat in oven for best texture.
  • Involve kids for a fun Halloween baking activity.
