This Sweet and Salty Fall Snack Mix is the ultimate autumn treat, blending crunchy cereals, salty pretzels, and sweet candies with a warm maple-cinnamon glaze. Perfect for parties, gifting, or cozy snacking.

  • 3 cups Peanut Butter Chex cereal
  • 2 cups Wheat Chex cereal
  • 2 cups Honey Nut Cheerios
  • 2 cups mini pretzels
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese crackers (like Cheez-Its)
  • 2/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup Reese’s Pieces (or peanut butter candies)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).
  2. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cereals, pretzels, and cheddar crackers.
  4. In a smaller bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Pour the glaze over the dry mix and gently toss to coat evenly.
  6. Spread the coated mix onto the prepared baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes until golden.
  8. Let the mix cool completely on the baking sheets.
  9. Once cooled, stir in marshmallows, candy corn, and Reese’s Pieces.
  10. Store in airtight containers for up to 1 week or enjoy immediately.

  • Omit marshmallows and candies if freezing the base mix.
