Smashed Buffalo Chicken Tacos are crispy, spicy, and juicy tacos made by pressing seasoned ground chicken onto tortillas, cooking them to golden perfection, and topping with buffalo sauce and creamy toppings.

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil for cooking
  • Optional: jalapeños, avocado slices, green onions

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions.
  3. Press each portion thinly onto one side of each tortilla, spreading evenly to the edges.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
  5. Place tortillas chicken-side down and cook for 3–4 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and crispy.
  6. Flip and cook the tortilla side for another 1–2 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove from heat and drizzle buffalo sauce over the cooked chicken.
  8. Add shredded lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and dressing on top.
  9. Fold the tacos gently and serve immediately while hot.
