  • 12 oz rotini or elbow pasta
  • 1 1/2 cups dill pickles, chopped
  • 1/2 cup pickle juice
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chicken sausage, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente.
  2. Drain and rinse under cold water, then set aside to cool.
  3. Chop dill pickles into small pieces and reserve pickle juice.
  4. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, pickle juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  5. In a large bowl, combine pasta, pickles, and optional ingredients.
  6. Pour dressing over the mixture and toss gently.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
