This Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa is a rich, creamy winter drink made with bittersweet chocolate, milk, and caramel sauce, topped with whipped cream and a touch of sea salt. Perfect for cozy nights or festive holiday gatherings.

  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • Sweetened whipped cream or vanilla marshmallows (for topping)
  • Grated chocolate (optional, for garnish)
  • Pinch of sea salt flakes (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare homemade caramel sauce if not using store-bought and allow it to cool slightly.
  2. Heat milk in a medium saucepan over medium heat until warm.
  3. Add chocolate chips and caramel sauce to the milk and whisk constantly until chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Allow to cool slightly before pouring into mugs.
