Rice Krispie Christmas Puddings are festive, no-bake chocolate treats made with marshmallows, butter, and crispy cereal. Topped with white chocolate and holly decorations, they’re perfect for holiday parties, gifts, or kid-friendly fun.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g Milk Chocolate
  • 150g Mini Marshmallows
  • 100g Rice Krispies
  • 50g Butter (optional)
  • 50g White Chocolate (for decoration)
  • Holly Leaf Decorations

Instructions

  1. Melt milk chocolate and butter in a pan over low to medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Alternatively, microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring each time.
  2. Add mini marshmallows to the melted mixture and stir until fully melted and combined.
  3. Add Rice Krispies to the mixture and stir until all cereal is evenly coated.
  4. Scoop a tablespoon of the mixture and roll into balls using your hands or cling film.
  5. Place shaped balls on a parchment-lined tray and chill in the fridge for at least 15 minutes.
  6. Melt white chocolate and drizzle over the top of each ball.
  7. Place holly leaf decorations on top and let the chocolate set before serving.

Notes

  • Use cling film to roll if the mixture is too sticky.
  • Let the mixture cool slightly before shaping to make rolling easier.
  • Microwave the chocolate in short bursts to avoid burning.
  • Skip butter or use baking chocolate if chocolate seizes.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or freeze undecorated for 3 months.
