Refreshing mulberry juice is a vibrant homemade summer drink made with fresh mulberries, lemon juice, and natural sweetener. This easy recipe delivers a naturally sweet, antioxidant-rich beverage that is cooling, healthy, and perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen mulberries
  • 23 cups cold water
  • 24 tablespoons granulated sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Ice cubes (as needed for serving)
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rinse fresh mulberries gently under cool water and remove any stems or debris. If using frozen mulberries, allow them to thaw slightly.
  2. Add mulberries to a blender along with 2 cups cold water, lemon juice, and sweetener.
  3. Blend for 1–2 minutes until the mixture becomes smooth and fully combined.
  4. Place a fine mesh strainer over a bowl and pour the blended mixture through it, pressing the pulp with a spoon to extract as much juice as possible.
  5. Taste the juice and adjust sweetness or add more water if needed.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves or extra mulberries if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust sugar depending on the sweetness of the mulberries.
  • For a thicker juice, skip the straining step.
  • Add sparkling water before serving for a fizzy variation.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Shake well before serving as natural separation may occur.
