Red White & Blue Marble Cake is a festive patriotic dessert featuring moist vanilla cake swirled with vibrant red, white, and blue colors. Perfect for Fourth of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, summer parties, and holiday celebrations.

  • Red gel food coloring
  • Blue gel food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or bundt pan.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Mix in vanilla extract.
  7. Alternately add the dry ingredients and milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.
  8. Mix until a smooth batter forms.
  9. Divide batter evenly into three bowls.
  10. Leave one bowl plain, color one bowl red, and color the other blue using gel food coloring.
  11. Spoon alternating dollops of red, white, and blue batter into the prepared pan.
  12. Use a butter knife or skewer to gently swirl the colors together.
  13. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  14. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  15. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  16. Frost with buttercream if desired.
  17. Decorate with fresh berries and patriotic sprinkles.
  18. Slice and serve.
