Red White and Blue Strawberries are festive no-bake patriotic treats made with fresh strawberries, creamy white chocolate, and blue sanding sugar for a colorful holiday dessert.

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and completely dried
  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips or white melting wafers
  • 1/2 cup blue sanding sugar
  • 1/4 cup blue sprinkles (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons white nonpareils (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons shredded coconut (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash strawberries thoroughly and pat completely dry.
  2. Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper.
  3. Melt white chocolate in the microwave or using a double boiler.
  4. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  5. Hold each strawberry by the stem.
  6. Dip approximately two-thirds of each strawberry into the white chocolate.
  7. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
  8. Immediately dip the bottom portion into blue sanding sugar or blue sprinkles.
  9. Place decorated strawberries on the prepared tray.
  10. Repeat with remaining strawberries.
  11. Refrigerate for 20 to 30 minutes until set.
  12. Serve chilled.
