This easy Pizza Bread recipe features a crispy French bread base topped with rich pizza sauce, gooey melted cheese, and your favorite toppings. Perfect for quick dinners, snacks, or party appetizers.

  • 1 large French bread loaf (about 16 inches)
  • ¾ to 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1520 pepperoni slices (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Toppings of choice (veggies, sausage, olives, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Slice French bread in half lengthwise and optionally crosswise to fit baking sheet.
  3. Brush cut sides with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder.
  4. Toast bread for 5 minutes in oven to crisp.
  5. Spread pizza sauce evenly over bread halves.
  6. Add a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Add your desired toppings (pepperoni, veggies, sausage, etc.).
  8. Sprinkle with oregano and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and slightly browned.
  10. Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes for a crispier top—watch closely.
