Philly Cheesesteak Sliders are baked mini sandwiches filled with tender steak, sautéed onions and peppers, melted provolone cheese, and buttery slider buns. Perfect for parties, game days, potlucks, and family dinners.

  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 pound shaved ribeye steak or thinly sliced beef
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add sliced onions and peppers.
  4. Cook until softened and lightly caramelized.
  5. Remove vegetables and set aside.
  6. Add steak to the skillet.
  7. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until browned.
  8. Season with salt and pepper.
  9. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  10. Slice slider buns horizontally while keeping them connected.
  11. Place bottom buns into the baking dish.
  12. Layer half the provolone cheese over the buns.
  13. Spread cooked steak evenly over the cheese.
  14. Add sautéed onions and peppers.
  15. Top with remaining provolone cheese.
  16. Place top buns over the filling.
  17. Mix melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley.
  18. Brush generously over the buns.
  19. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  20. Remove foil and bake 5 more minutes until golden brown.
  21. Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
