M&M Brownie Mix Cookies are chewy, fudgy cookies made from a simple boxed brownie mix and colorful M&Ms. They’re quick to make, full of chocolate flavor, and perfect for holidays, parties, or anytime you crave a sweet treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (18–19 oz) box fudge-style brownie mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup M&Ms (regular or mini)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine brownie mix, eggs, and oil. Stir until well blended into a thick dough.
  3. Fold in 3/4 cup of M&Ms and chocolate chips, if using.
  4. Use a cookie scoop to place dough balls onto the baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
  5. Press extra M&Ms on top for decoration.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set but centers are soft.
  7. Cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.

Notes

  • Do not overbake — cookies should look slightly underdone when removed from the oven.
  • Chill the dough for 20 minutes for thicker cookies.
  • Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure even baking.
  • Add a pinch of salt to enhance chocolate flavor.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
