4 cups vanilla ice cream
3 cups cornflakes, crushed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup butter
Whipped cream (optional)
Chocolate syrup (optional)
Honey or caramel sauce (optional)
Cherries (optional)
Instructions
Scoop ice cream into equal-sized balls and place on a baking sheet.
Freeze for 2 to 3 hours until completely firm.
Crush cornflakes and mix with sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
Melt butter in a skillet and toast the mixture until golden brown.
Allow the coating to cool completely.
Roll each frozen ice cream ball in the coating, pressing gently.
Repeat coating for a thicker crust if desired.
Return coated ice cream to the freezer for at least 1 hour.
