  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic, parsley, oregano, onion, egg, breadcrumbs, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix gently until just combined; do not overmix.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
  4. Press a slight indentation in the center of each patty.
  5. Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat and lightly oil it.
  6. Cook patties for 5-6 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  7. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
