  • 16 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  2. In another bowl, mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Combine lemon juice with a little water to create a soaking mixture.
  5. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the mixture.
  6. Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in a dish.
  7. Spread a layer of cream mixture over the ladyfingers.
  8. Repeat layers until ingredients are used.
  9. Finish with a layer of cream and sprinkle lemon zest on top.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
