Kool-Aid Grapes are a sweet, frozen snack made by coating seedless grapes in flavored drink mix and freezing them. They taste like candy and are perfect for kids, parties, or summer treats.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb of seedless grapes (green or red)
  • 1 packet (3 oz) of Kool-Aid or Jell-O sugar-sweetened drink mix, any flavor

Instructions

  1. Rinse the grapes thoroughly in a colander.
  2. Pat dry lightly with paper towels.
  3. Freeze grapes for at least 1 hour.
  4. Remove grapes from stems once frozen.
  5. Pour Kool-Aid powder into a large Ziploc bag.
  6. Add frozen grapes to the bag.
  7. Seal and shake until grapes are evenly coated.
  8. Spread coated grapes on a baking sheet and refreeze for 2 hours.
  9. Store in an airtight container or freezer bag.

Notes

  • Try different Kool-Aid flavors for variety.
  • Red or green grapes both work, but green grapes give a sour candy taste.
  • Use sugar-free Kool-Aid for a lower sugar version.
  • Grapes are easier to destem when frozen.
