Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups half-and-half (or any milk/cream combination)
  • ¼ cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup (or honey)
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon.
  2. Whisk constantly for 5–7 minutes until the mixture is hot and smooth, but do not boil.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Let it cool slightly, then strain through a fine-mesh sieve for a smoother texture (optional).
  5. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate. Shake before each use.

Notes

  • Use oat milk or coconut milk for a dairy-free version.
  • Substitute honey with agave or maple syrup for vegan variation.
  • Add more cinnamon or nutmeg to adjust spice intensity.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
  • Freeze in ice cube trays for single-use portions.
