Hershey Kiss Acorn Treats are adorable no-bake fall desserts made with Hershey’s Kisses, mini cookies, and chocolate chips to resemble tiny acorns—perfect for Thanksgiving, Halloween, or a fun kitchen activity with kids.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 40 Hershey’s Kisses (unwrapped)
  • 40 Mini Nilla Wafer cookies (or mini Nutter Butters or Golden Oreos)
  • 3/4 cup Mini Chocolate Chips (divided: 1/2 cup melted, 1/4 cup reserved)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until smooth.
  3. Place Nilla wafers upside down. Dab melted chocolate onto the flat side of each wafer using a skewer or toothpick.
  4. Press the flat bottom of a Hershey’s Kiss onto the melted chocolate on each wafer and set on the baking sheet.
  5. Chill the assembled bases in the refrigerator for 10 minutes until set.
  6. Reheat the melted chocolate if needed. Dab a small amount onto the top of each wafer and press a mini chocolate chip (flat side down) as the acorn stem.
  7. Chill for another 5 minutes to set completely before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute mini chocolate chips with pretzel sticks for the stems.
  • Use any chocolate-flavored Hershey’s Kiss, such as milk chocolate or dark chocolate.
  • Mini Oreos or Nutter Butters can replace Nilla Wafers for variety.
  • Work in batches to prevent chocolate from hardening mid-process.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature or refrigerate for longer shelf life.
