Grilled Steak Kabobs are juicy beef skewers marinated with flavorful spices and grilled with colorful vegetables. This easy grilling recipe creates tender, smoky kabobs perfect for barbecues, cookouts, or family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 medium onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • Skewers (metal or soaked wooden)

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into evenly sized cubes and place them in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the steak cubes and mix well to coat.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
  5. Cut the vegetables into similar-sized pieces.
  6. Thread the marinated steak and vegetables alternately onto skewers.
  7. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F / 200°C).
  8. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
  9. Place the kabobs on the grill and cook for 8–12 minutes, turning every few minutes.
  10. Remove from the grill once the steak reaches the desired doneness and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use tender cuts like sirloin or ribeye for the best results.
  • Cut steak and vegetables into similar sizes to ensure even cooking.
  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling.
  • Avoid overcrowding the skewers to allow proper heat circulation.
  • Let the kabobs rest for a few minutes after grilling to retain juices.
