A quick and refreshing single-serve freshly squeezed lemonade made with just 4 ingredients. Perfectly sweet-tart and ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons granulated white sugar
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 3 tablespoons fresh-squeezed lemon juice (from 1 medium-to-large lemon)
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • Ice (to fill the glass)

Instructions

  1. In a 16-ounce or larger glass, stir together the sugar and hot water until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Add the fresh lemon juice and cold water to the glass and stir well.
  3. Fill the glass to the top with ice.
  4. Stir again and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for best flavor.
  • Combine Meyer and Eureka lemons for a unique sweet-tart taste.
