French Onion Rice is a savory and comforting side dish made with rice, French onion soup, beef broth, and butter, baked to perfection.

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) French onion soup
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 4 tbsp butter, sliced
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms (optional)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a baking dish, combine rice, French onion soup, and beef broth.
  3. Stir well to mix all ingredients evenly.
  4. Place sliced butter on top of the mixture.
  5. Cover tightly with foil.
  6. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until rice is tender.
