Roast Beef Sliders are warm, cheesy baked sandwiches made with tender sliced roast beef, melted provolone and Swiss cheese, soft Hawaiian rolls, and a savory butter topping. Perfect for game day, holiday parties, family dinners, potlucks, and crowd-pleasing gatherings.

  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1 pound deli-sliced roast beef
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds

  • 1/4 cup sliced dill pickles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Without separating the rolls, slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally.
  4. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the baking dish.
  5. Layer the provolone cheese evenly over the rolls.
  6. Arrange the roast beef evenly over the cheese layer.
  7. Add Swiss cheese over the roast beef.
  8. Add optional toppings such as caramelized onions or horseradish sauce if desired.
  9. Place the top half of the rolls over the fillings.
  10. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and poppy seeds.
  11. Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
  12. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  13. Bake for 15 minutes.
  14. Remove the foil and continue baking for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
  15. Remove from the oven and allow the sliders to rest for 5 minutes.
  16. Slice into individual sliders.
  17. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or side dish.
