  • Optional powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg yolk and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  4. Gradually mix in the flour and salt until a soft dough forms.
  5. Scoop small portions of dough and roll into smooth balls.

  7. Gently press around the edges of each dough ball to create a flower shape.
  8. Spoon a small amount of jam into the center of each cookie.
