Cranberry Turkey Stuffing Balls are a festive, flavorful side dish combining sweet cranberries, savory sausage or turkey, and nutty chestnuts. Perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any special occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 350g (12.3 oz) pork sausage meat or ground turkey
  • 75g (2.6 oz) dried cranberries
  • 180g (6.3 oz) cooked chestnuts, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (sage, rosemary, or thyme, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) or 400°F (200°C fan). Grease or line a baking tray.
  2. Chop chestnuts and optionally soak cranberries for 5–10 minutes, then drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine sausage meat (or turkey), cranberries, chestnuts, and herbs.
  4. Mix thoroughly by hand until well combined.
  5. Divide mixture into 16 equal portions and roll into balls.
  6. Place on prepared tray and bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.

Notes

  • To bake in a dish instead of balls, press mixture into a greased 6×10 inch dish and bake for 25–30 minutes.
  • To use as stuffing, fill cavity of turkey or chicken before roasting.
  • To freeze, shape and freeze raw stuffing balls; bake from frozen at 400°F for 30 minutes.
  • Store cooked balls in fridge up to 3 days; reheat in oven at 350°F for 10 minutes.
