A creamy and comforting chicken and broccoli tortellini made with tender chicken, fresh broccoli, and cheese-filled tortellini in a rich garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 3 cups cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup milk or cream
  • 1 cup grated cheese (parmesan or similar)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook tortellini according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and cook the chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  3. Blanch or steam broccoli until tender-crisp.
  4. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add milk or cream and simmer, then stir in grated cheese until smooth.
  6. Return chicken and broccoli to the pan.
  7. Add cooked tortellini and gently toss to combine.
  8. Season with salt and pepper, then serve warm.

  • Do not overcook tortellini to avoid mushy texture.
  • Use fresh broccoli for best flavor and texture.
