  • 12 Hawaiian rolls or dinner rolls
  • 12 mozzarella cheese cubes
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish lightly.
  3. Cut a pocket into each roll without slicing completely through.
  4. Place one mozzarella cube inside each roll.
  5. Add a small amount of shredded mozzarella to each roll.
  6. Arrange the stuffed rolls in the prepared baking dish.
  7. Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and Italian seasoning in a bowl.
  8. Brush the garlic butter generously over the rolls.
  9. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  10. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes if desired.
  11. Garnish with extra parsley.
  12. Serve warm.
