  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 8 oz whipped topping
  • 4 cups apples, peeled and diced

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in skillet and cook apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice until tender. Cool completely.
  2. Whisk pudding mix with cold milk until thickened.
  3. Fold whipped topping into pudding mixture until smooth.
  4. Place a layer of graham crackers in a 9×13-inch dish.
  5. Spread part of pudding mixture over crackers.
  6. Add part of cooked apples.
  7. Repeat layers until ingredients are used.
  8. Drizzle top generously with caramel sauce.
  9. Refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight before serving.
