  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter cups, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare a 10-inch cast-iron skillet or heavy-duty foil pan.

  3. Add half of the chocolate bars, chocolate chips, marshmallows, and optional toppings.
  4. Repeat the layers using the remaining ingredients.

  6. Cover loosely with foil if desired.
  7. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes until the chocolate is melted and marshmallows are golden brown.

  9. Allow the dessert to cool for 2 to 3 minutes.
  10. Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.
  11. Serve immediately with extra graham crackers for scooping.

Notes

  • Use indirect heat to avoid burning the marshmallows.
  • Cast-iron skillets provide the most even cooking.
  • Customize with your favorite candy bars and toppings.
  • Fresh fruit such as bananas and strawberries pair well with the dessert.
  • Best enjoyed immediately while warm and gooey.
  • Can be baked in a 350°F oven for 10 to 12 minutes if a campfire is unavailable.
  • Store leftovers refrigerated for up to 2 days.
