  • 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup bacon bits optional
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar optional
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash broccoli thoroughly and chop into small florets.
  2. Dice apples into bite-sized cubes.
  3. Toss apples with lemon juice if desired.
  4. Whisk mayonnaise, yogurt, honey, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Add broccoli, apples, onion, cranberries, and seeds to large bowl.
  6. Pour dressing over salad.
  7. Toss until evenly coated.
  8. Add bacon or cheese if using.
  9. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
  10. Top with extra seeds before serving.
