Ingredients

Scale
  • 18 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 8 oz (226g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup (30g) powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) Baileys Irish Cream
  • 4 oz (113g) semi-sweet chocolate, melted
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy whipping cream (for cheesecake layer)
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy whipping cream (for topping)
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (for whipped topping)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: chocolate shavings, mini chocolate chips, extra Oreo crumbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Crush Oreo cookies using a food processor or in a zip-top bag with a rolling pin.
  2. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and mix until fluffy.
  3. Add melted semi-sweet chocolate and Baileys Irish Cream, mixing well until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream to stiff peaks and fold into the cheesecake mixture.
  5. Prepare the whipped topping by beating another 1 cup of heavy cream with 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  6. Assemble the trifles by layering crushed Oreos, Baileys cheesecake filling, and whipped cream. Repeat layers as desired.
  7. Top with chocolate shavings, chips, or extra cookie crumbs.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow layers to set.

Notes

  • Use piping bags for cleaner layering, especially in jars.
  • Chill beaters and bowls before whipping cream for better results.
  • For alcohol-free version, replace Baileys with extra cream and vanilla extract.
  • Best consumed within 24–36 hours for ideal texture.
