Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/4 cup yogurt (Greek or regular)
  • 1/2 cup apple, finely diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the rolled oats, milk, yogurt, cinnamon, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to a jar or bowl.
  2. Stir well until all ingredients are fully combined.
  3. Fold in the diced apples and chia seeds if using.
  4. Cover the container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. In the morning, stir the oats and add a splash of milk if the texture is too thick.
  6. Serve cold or let sit at room temperature for a few minutes before eating.

Notes

  • Use rolled oats for the best creamy texture.
  • Finely diced apples soften naturally overnight without cooking.
  • Adjust sweetness after chilling if needed.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
