  • 2 cups fresh pumpkin seeds
  • 2 teaspoons avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Remove 2 cups of pumpkin seeds from a fresh pumpkin and place them in a colander.
  2. Rinse thoroughly under cold water, removing all pulp, then press dry with towels.
  3. Add seeds to a mixing bowl. Drizzle with avocado oil and sprinkle with garlic salt and smoked paprika.
  4. Stir to evenly coat the seeds with the seasoning.
  5. Place the seeds in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Air fry at 350°F for 30 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes.
  7. Check for doneness—seeds should be golden and crispy. Add 3–5 extra minutes if needed.
  8. Let seeds cool completely before serving or storing.
