Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 fl oz Empress Gin
  • ½ fl oz Empress Gin (optional, for topping)
  • 3 fl oz sparkling water (or club soda, tonic water, or lemon soda)
  • 2 fl oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ½ fl oz blue curaçao
  • ½ fl oz herbal simple syrup (optional)
  • ⅛ tsp pearl luster dust
  • Ice to serve
  • Optional: small nugget of dry ice

Instructions

  1. Fill a tall clear glass with ice cubes or crushed ice.
  2. Sprinkle in ⅛ tsp pearl luster dust for shimmer.
  3. Pour in 2 fl oz Empress Gin, 3 fl oz sparkling water, and ½ fl oz herbal syrup (if using). Stir gently.
  4. Add 2 fl oz freshly squeezed lemon juice and watch the color change.
  5. Slowly pour ½ fl oz blue curaçao to form a layered gradient.
  6. Optionally float ½ fl oz Empress Gin on top using the back of a spoon.
  7. Add garnish like rosemary, lemon twist, or spooky-themed decorations.
  8. Optional: add a small nugget of dry ice for a bubbling cauldron effect.

Notes

  • Assemble just before serving to maintain shimmer and fizz.
  • Use food-grade dry ice only and wait until it dissolves before drinking.
  • Butterfly pea tea ice cubes can replace Empress Gin for a non-alcoholic version.
  • Serve in a clear glass for best visual effect.
