Soft, chewy Valentine’s Day Oreo M&M Cookies packed with red, pink, and white M&Ms and crunchy Oreo chunks. A festive, easy one-bowl cookie recipe perfect for gifting, parties, and holiday baking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup Valentine’s Day M&Ms (red, pink, and white)
  • 6 Oreo cookies, roughly crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
  5. Fold in crushed Oreos and M&Ms until evenly distributed through the dough.
  6. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough per cookie onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden and centers look set but soft.
  8. Press extra M&Ms or Oreo pieces on top immediately after baking for decoration.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking for thicker cookies.
  • Do not overmix after adding flour to keep cookies soft.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days at room temperature.
  • Freeze cookie dough balls for up to 2 months and bake straight from frozen.
  • Substitute Valentine’s M&Ms with any colorful candy or chocolate chips.
