  • 1 (8 oz) can crescent roll dough
  • 10 hot dogs
  • 23 slices American cheese (optional)
  • Mustard or ketchup (for eyes and dipping)

  • Cooking spray or 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. Unroll crescent dough and press seams to form solid sheets. Slice into thin strips using a pizza cutter.
  3. (Optional) Slice cheese into thin strips and place on top of hot dogs.
  4. Wrap each hot dog with crescent dough strips, leaving space at the top for eyes.
  5. Place on the baking sheet and brush with melted butter or spray with cooking spray.
  6. Bake for 16–18 minutes, until golden brown and hot throughout.
  7. Remove from oven. Dot mustard or ketchup on each mummy and attach candy eyes.
  8. Serve with dipping sauces like ketchup, mustard, or spooky spiderweb dip.

Notes

  • Stretch dough gently to avoid tearing during wrapping.
  • Dry hot dogs before wrapping for better hold.
  • Cheese may melt and create a mess—use sparingly or skip for cleaner look.
  • Use pizza cutter for evenly sliced strips.
  • Wrap dough in different directions to create realistic mummy effect.
