Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda (like Sprite or 7UP)
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
  • 23 drops blue food coloring
  • 12 tablespoons simple syrup or sugar
  • 1/2 cup ice (crushed or cubes)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the simple syrup, blue food coloring, and coconut extract until well combined.
  2. Fill a tall glass with ice.
  3. Pour the lemon-lime soda into the glass over the ice.
  4. Slowly stir in the coconut syrup mixture until the color and flavor are evenly distributed.
  5. Garnish with a lime wedge or cherry if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Chill soda and syrup mix before combining for best results.
  • Use crushed ice for a slushier texture.
  • For a sugar-free version, use diet soda and sugar substitute.
  • Add coconut rum for an adult version.
