Quick Cherry Pie Bites are easy, bite-sized desserts made with flaky dough and sweet cherry filling, baked until golden and perfect for parties, snacks, or quick treats.

  • 1 package refrigerated pie dough or puff pastry
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 1 large egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon milk or water
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Roll out the pie dough or puff pastry and cut into small circles or squares.
  3. Place dough pieces on a lined baking sheet or into a mini muffin tin.
  4. Spoon a small amount of cherry pie filling into the center of each piece.
  5. Lightly fold or pinch the edges if desired.
  6. Whisk egg with milk or water and brush over the dough.
  7. Sprinkle lightly with sugar if using.
  8. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and flaky.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
