This easy peanut butter fudge recipe uses just 4 ingredients and comes together in 10 minutes. Creamy, smooth, and no baking required—perfect for holidays or any sweet craving.

  • 1¼ cups (283g) unsalted butter
  • 1¼ cups (338g) creamy peanut butter
  • 4½ cups (510g) powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line or grease an 8-inch square baking dish and set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the butter and peanut butter. Heat over medium until the mixture comes to a gentle boil.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Add the sifted powdered sugar and stir until completely smooth with no lumps.
  5. Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. Press a piece of plastic wrap directly on the surface of the fudge.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until fully set.
  8. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • You can make this recipe in the microwave using the same steps with 2-minute intervals.
  • If using a 9-inch pan, the fudge will be thinner.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container for up to 1 week at room temperature, 1 month in the fridge, or 3 months in the freezer.
  • Use no-stir natural peanut butter if substituting brands to avoid oily texture.
