Ingredient preparation
- Wash the chicken thoroughly.
- Cut the chicken into small pieces.
- Wash and soak the rice properly.
- Finely chop the onion like a mochhi.
- Chop the tomatoes.

Heat ghee in a pan and add onion and make it golden. Then add meat and fry for 5-10 minutes.
Now add 4-5 cups of water and cook on low flame (water is not necessary for chicken).
When the meat becomes soft, then add tomato, ginger, garlic, curd and biryani masala and cook again for 10-15 minutes.
In a separate pan, add 12 glasses of water and salt to taste and boil the rice until the rice is half cooked. Drain the water and keep it aside.
In another pan, spread a layer of rice and meat curry. One layer rice, then curry. Apply three to four layers like this. Sprinkle food colouring, green coriander, mint and kewda on each layer. Cover and cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes and then take it off and offer it hot.
