Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pork chops (boneless or bone-in, about 1 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, 1 teaspoon grated ginger, or 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear pork chops for 3–4 minutes per side (boneless) or 5–6 minutes (bone-in) until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Return pork chops to the skillet, coating each side in the sauce. Continue cooking for another 2–3 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  7. Remove from heat, let rest for 5 minutes, and spoon the glaze over before serving.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.
  • For a spicier glaze, add red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Freeze cooked chops for up to 2 months for easy meal prep.
