Easy Berry Crumble is a simple baked dessert made with juicy berries and a buttery crumb topping, creating a warm, comforting fruit dessert that’s perfect for any season.

  • 4 cups mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, or blackberries)
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the berries with granulated sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, and vanilla extract.
  3. Spread the berry mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and salt.
  5. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the berries.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes, until the topping is golden and the fruit is bubbling.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

  • Frozen berries can be used without thawing.
  • Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of the berries.
  • Let the crumble rest before serving so the filling thickens.
