Crockpot Halloween Haystacks are a no-bake, sweet and salty treat made with just 4 ingredients—perfect for spooky parties, gift bags, and quick Halloween desserts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces white candy coating (almond bark or Candiquik)
  • 2 cups chow mein noodles
  • 2 cups dry roasted peanuts
  • Halloween sprinkles (as needed for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Place white candy coating, chow mein noodles, and dry roasted peanuts into a slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 hour, stirring halfway through, until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Stir the mixture to evenly coat all the ingredients.
  4. Line a baking sheet with wax or parchment paper.
  5. Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the sheet.
  6. Immediately top each haystack with Halloween sprinkles.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour or until set.

Notes

  • Use oil-based or gel-based food coloring to tint the candy coating if desired.
  • Add candy eyeballs or spooky-themed sprinkles for extra Halloween fun.
  • Swap peanuts for pretzels, sunflower seeds, or other allergy-friendly mix-ins.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature, in the fridge, or freezer.
  • Can be made using stovetop or microwave if a slow cooker isn’t available.
