Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz tube refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 8 fully cooked breakfast sausage links
  • 4 slices American cheese, halved

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, beat the eggs. Reserve 2 tablespoons for brushing.
  3. Scramble the remaining eggs with salt and pepper.
  4. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
  5. Place half a cheese slice on each triangle.
  6. Top with a spoonful of scrambled eggs and one sausage link.
  7. Loosely roll up each triangle and place on a greased or lined baking sheet.
  8. Brush the tops with the reserved beaten egg and sprinkle with black pepper.
  9. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm or let cool completely to freeze for later.

Notes

  • Let rolls cool completely before freezing to avoid sogginess.
  • Reheat in the oven or air fryer for a crispier texture.
  • You can substitute turkey sausage or use plant-based fillings for dietary preferences.
  • Do not overfill rolls to prevent leaks while baking.
