Soft, chewy Creamsicle Cookies bursting with orange zest and creamy vanilla flavor—an easy dessert perfect for holidays, parties, or a nostalgic treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) white cake mix
  • 1 box (3 oz) orange jello
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 8 tablespoons (1 stick) salted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 bag (11 oz) white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together cake mix, orange jello, and orange zest.
  3. Add softened butter and eggs. Beat until just combined, scraping down sides as needed.
  4. Fold in white chocolate chips.
  5. Use a 1½ tablespoon scoop to portion dough, roll into balls, and place on baking sheets with 2-inch spacing.
  6. Bake for 10–13 minutes or until edges are set and centers are soft.
  7. Cool cookies on baking sheet for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.

Notes

  • Use a microplane for the best orange zest without bitterness.
  • Room temperature ingredients help with even mixing.
  • Do not overbake—cookies continue baking on the sheet after removal.
  • Store in airtight container at room temp for up to 5 days.
  • Freeze dough balls for up to 3 months for future baking.
