Christmas Crock Pot Candy is a simple 4-ingredient holiday treat made with peanuts and three types of chocolate, melted in a slow cooker and topped with festive sprinkles. It’s a no-bake, make-ahead dessert perfect for gift-giving, parties, or adding to your holiday dessert tray.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 32 ounces peanuts (dry roasted, salted cocktail, or a mix)
  • 2 pounds white almond bark, broken into pieces
  • 4 ounces Baker’s German Sweet Chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Optional: Holiday sprinkles, crushed peppermint, flaked sea salt

Instructions

  1. Lightly spray the inside of a large crockpot (6-7 quart) with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Place the peanuts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Layer the almond bark, German chocolate, and chocolate chips on top of the peanuts. Do not stir.
  4. Place a dry kitchen towel under the lid to catch condensation, then cover the slow cooker.
  5. Cook on LOW for 1 hour.
  6. After 1 hour, gently stir the mixture. If not fully melted, cook in 15-minute intervals, stirring each time, until smooth (about 1 hour and 15 minutes total).
  7. Turn off the slow cooker and stir the mixture well.
  8. Use a small cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop clusters onto parchment or wax paper-lined baking sheets.
  9. Decorate with sprinkles or toppings before the candy sets.
  10. Allow clusters to set for 1–2 hours at room temperature or refrigerate to speed up.

Notes

  • Use almond bark instead of white chocolate chips for better melting and setting.
  • Don’t stir the mixture during the first hour of cooking.
  • Placing a towel under the lid helps prevent moisture from ruining the chocolate texture.
  • Layer with wax paper in containers for storage to avoid sticking.
  • Freeze for up to 3 months in airtight containers or bags.
