This Caramel Apple Dump Cake is a simple 5-ingredient fall dessert featuring apple pie filling, caramel bits, cake mix, and butter. It bakes into a gooey, golden treat perfect for any autumn gathering.

  • 1/3 cup caramels, diced into small bits (or Kraft caramel bits)
  • 1 box white or yellow cake mix (approx. 15 oz)
  • 2 sticks salted butter (16 tablespoons), melted or sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. Spread the apple pie filling evenly into the prepared dish.
  4. Sprinkle the diced caramel bits over the apple layer.
  5. Evenly distribute the dry cake mix over the caramel layer.
  6. Pour melted butter evenly over the dry cake mix, or place sliced butter pats on top.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  8. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
