Brown Sugar Cinnamon Butter is a light, whipped sweet spread made with just four ingredients. Perfect for toast, pancakes, muffins, and more, it’s quick to make and full of warm, cozy flavor.

  • ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • ¼ cup (50g) light brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Let the butter sit at room temperature until very soft.
  2. Place the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt into the bowl of a stand mixer.
  3. Start mixing slowly to combine without splashing.
  4. Whip on medium-high speed for at least 4 minutes, until the butter becomes light and fluffy. Scrape the sides of the bowl as needed.
  5. Transfer to an airtight container for storage or immediate use.

Notes

  • Use room temperature butter for best results.
  • Whip for at least 4 minutes to achieve fluffy texture.
  • Can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 month or frozen for up to 4 months.
