  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 12 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
  • Sprinkles, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a mini donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
  5. Transfer batter to a piping bag or zip-top bag with the corner cut off.
  6. Fill each donut cavity about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until donuts spring back when touched.
  8. Cool briefly, then transfer donuts to a wire rack.
  9. Mix powdered sugar and milk to make glaze, then dip donuts and add sprinkles if desired.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the batter to keep donuts soft.
  • Use a piping bag for clean and even filling.
  • Decorate donuts while slightly warm for better topping adhesion.
  • Mini donuts bake quickly, so watch them closely.
